Tuesday Flashers!

We meet on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 7.30 to 9.30pm and focus on short stories (<1500 words) and poetry.

Theme:  “In the Full Moon”

The full moon invokes many story threads, from gothic adventures to tales of loss and loneliness.
It can imply ghostly themes, secret assignations, and mysterious goings on.
Is it a dark and stormy night? Is there an accident waiting to happen?

Novel Night

We meet on the second Wednesday of each month from 7.30 to 9.30pm and focus on assisting members who are writing and developing novels, and other long works such as memoirs.

If you are planning to attend, submit the chapter to info@fernhillwriters.com before 6:00pm two Fridays prior to the meeting. The chapters will be distributed to the expected attendees before the meeting so that there is time to read the chapter and prepare feedback.

It is also helpful to provide a 100(ish) word summary of the novel (think  elevator pitch) to help others in the group understand the intent and themes of the novel.
