Often we are so focused striving for goals that we lose awareness of the consequences of what we do.
Sometimes we are in a distracted state of mind that we do something that seemed logical for a moment but had repercussions wider than intended.
What were the circumstances leading to an unintended action?
What were the repercussions?
How did the character feel and react?

We meet on the second Wednesday of each month from 7.30 to 9.30pm and focus on assisting members who are writing and developing novels, and other long works such as memoirs.

If you are planning to attend, submit the chapter to info@fernhillwriters.com before 6:00pm two Fridays prior to the meeting. The chapters will be distributed to the expected attendees before the meeting so that there is time to read the chapter and prepare feedback.

It is also helpful to provide a 100(ish) word summary of the novel (think  elevator pitch) to help others in the group understand the intent and themes of the novel.
